From a Need to a Vision

New Vista was founded in 1986, by parents of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, who were concerned about what would happen to their loved ones when they were gone, or could no longer care for them. Out of this need, we created the first program: “New Vista Ranch.”

Our Programs

New Vista provides programs that offer opportunities for our members to live life to the fullest! At the core of New Vista’s programs is the belief that people of all abilities are equally worthy of dignity and respect.

Our programs offer unique activities and experiences which promote independence, friendship, and opportunities for greater inclusion.
